LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — In one of the first shows of its kind, Henry Flores, co-owner of Buzz Foto, LLC, a Los Angeles-based paparazzi agency, is hosting a permanent retrospective of contemporary celebrity photos in “A Day In The Life of The Paparazzi!” An opening night celebrity reception will be announced with the arrival of his highly anticipated book, A Day In The Life Of The Paparazzi! “Henry Flores brings elegance and art form to his paparazzi style photography. We are more than excited to be the host of this once in a lifetime opportunity”, says Michael Washington, General Manager. The book everyone’s buzzing about is expected to climb its way to the bestseller list. The sneak peak photo exhibition, is currently open, and premiere of the book, will be held at the prestigious Paparazzi Ristorante and Chophouse.
Encapsulating the present moment of our culture and the worldwide phenomenon of celebrity fixation, A Day in The Life of The Paparazzi! profiles the evolution of pop culture imagery and showcases the modern-day icons in a historical context, including iconic images of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian. “Henry Flores’ collection clearly illustrates that paparazzi photography can be a form of art. Executed properly, images of today’s celebrities can exude an incredible amount of style and elegance that portray our ever-changing and exciting pop culture. Photos such as these are destined to one day grace the walls of major museums and galleries,” said Brad Elterman, Buzz Foto co-founder. “Consider Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans and Helen Levitt; each took photos of individuals without permission and set out to sell them. Their iconic photographs imitate the paparazzi style and today hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Henry Flores’ photographs have the potential to hang next to those great masters.”

He has photographed all the show business icons during his 10 year career with his distinct style of photographing his subjects in unconventional or candid settings. “The Sheraton Gateway’s Paparazzi Ristorante is hosting, A Day in The Life of The Paparazzi! to feature Henry’s amazing work and also to enhance the restaurants atmosphere,” continues Mr. Washington.
Henry Flores has a goal to clearly illustrate that paparazzi-style photography is a form of art. “I am pleased to host a first-ever gallery showing of paparazzi art at the Paparazzi Ristorante. About Henry Flores
Henry Flores graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, and began what he thought would be a long and prosperous career as an electrical engineer designing new technology for the medical, telecommunications and military / defense industries. In need of a hobby to release his creative energy while in college, he fell in love with photography, seeing it as a hobby that he could take into retirement. In 2003, Henry received an offer to work for three months under the training and guidance of an experienced paparazzo. After years shooting as a freelance paparazzi photographer, in 2006, discovering that he had a knack for the profession, Henry decided to launch himself full-time in the celebrity photojournalist industry and formed BuzzFoto, a Los Angeles-based photo agencies, which specialized in providing celebrity photos to magazines, newspapers and blogs worldwide to further develop their vision of “Paparazzi as an Art Form!”. http://www.henryflores.com

There is no better way to celebrate your birthday than having a hearty meal. My wife took me to a very luxurious restaurant where I was able to order a Filet Mignon with rice, vegetables, and smashed potatoes. After the meal, the restaurant brought me this wonderful dessert with a candle.

I made a wish and blew the candle. My birthday is always enjoyable. By the way, I would like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday.

One of the best things regarding having the best model in the world and the best connections is a guarantee in getting the best photos. Anna Petrova, the very gorgeous super model, posed for some photos at the very luxurious Paparazzi Ristorante inside the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles. We did another shoot before with some amazing pearls and those photos can be seen here on the following link… Anna Petrova On A Fine Art Session Inside The Prestigious Paparazzi Ristorante For Henry Flores – Preview.

Anna Petrova and myself wanted to do something a little different than just a model shoot with proper lighting and proper everything, so we decided to do everything with natural light. The restaurant already had low light and holding the camera to take a low light photograph was already a challenge. Anna had the hardest part, to strike a pose and hold it while the shutter opened to capture all the ambient light. As you can see, she was amazing. As the shoot progressed, she got into character and went into tigress mode. As she posed, I swear that I heard her roar.

Balthazar Getty At Fred Segal Clothing Boutique, Photography By Henry Flores
I was driving into the Fred Segal alley way and I found Balthazar Getty getting a bite to eat at one of the outdoor tables. I guess he wanted paparazzi to find him because the food is is just, whatever. I found parking right away and then I looked around. I quickly realized that I wasn’t alone. There were 20 other paparazzi waiting for him to come out. I got out of my car and I headed to the back where the other paparazzi were. It didn’t take long before he finished eating. When he came out, he smiled and headed in our direction. No one followed him after he got on his car and took off, but he gave us some great shots. The Gun Series, Jenny Savage In Fine Art Photo Shoot for Photographer Henry Flores
“All great photos happen by luck and some others happen with luck.” by Henry Flores
As part of the Gun Series, I took my great friend, model, actor, singer, artist, Jenny Savage to the railroad tracks in San Fernando Valley. I have been craving a great photo shoot there and I have visited the railroad tracks a few times to make sure it was perfect, and it was perfect.
The day started at the camera store where I bought myself a flood light. I was going to be pick up Jenny at her house later on that day. I had this great idea to do low light photography and at the same time expose Jenny correctly. I haven’t worked with a flood light in a very long time and it was going to be fun to shoot that way again. I put on batteries for the flood light and tested while at home. I was feeling good about the shoot.
I picked up Jenny at six o’clock and we got to the tracks just as the sun was going to go down. She started to take off her clothes as I was getting ready with my camera equipment. The sun was finally down and I turned on the flood light. It was perfect.

Jenny Savage Models On A Fine Art Photoshoot With Photographer Henry Flores, Part 01
I took Jenny Savage on a fine art photo shoot in a remote area of the San Fernando Valley. I have been craving to do a shoot along rail road tracks and this was the perfect location. She was wearing a a short dress, one of those that flows with the wind and her point ballerina shoes. Just as the train made its way past us, I would take a photo. Tell me what you think? Do you like these photos? See more on my personal website.

Kim Zolciak Shops for Baby Clothes and Baby Crib, Photography By Henry Flores
I found Kim Zolciak at a local eatery having lunch with her assistant. She was eating at this restaurant, but I do not know the name of it because I was so concentrated on her. She was eating facing the rear of the restaurant so I had no shots. I was there when she was about to pay so I knew that I wasn’t going to have to wait long.

She got out of the restaurant without me taking any photos so I had to follow her. She led me to this shop in Silverlake. It looked like a small boutique where they sold baby stuff. I followed her inside the store with a small point and shoot camera, the Canon G9 that I have. I knew that I had to be sneaky inside the store. I took a couple of photos when everyone was distracted.

Kim Zolciak Gets Parking Ticket Then Takes Photos With Me, Henry Flores

Right after taking some pictures together, Kim Zolciak crosses the street and notices that she has a parking ticket on her rental car. She walks towards it and picks up the ticket from the windshield. She opens it up and is surprised to see it costing $40. She gives it to her assistant and comes to say goodbye without even noticing. We took a few more photos and she was on her way.
